Christopher J Rockers

Chris is a Managing Director for KPMG Corporate Finance LLC and leads the Energy Services and Equipment team. He is based in the Denver office.

Chris Rockers brings over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, principally in energy related sectors. He is focused on the Energy & Power sector where he represents service and equipment businesses operating in the Renewables and Traditional Energy markets.

Chris began his focus on energy service business in 2007 while at Cornerstone Holdings where he led a multi-company roll-up acquisition strategy to create a large private Rockies based field services company. Additionally, he worked on financing, M&A advisory, capital markets, and restructuring transactions in his previous roles at D.A. Davidson, Alpina Capital, and ESC Solutions. Over his career he has completed dozens of transactions, ranging in size from sub-$25 million to $250 million in enterprise value. Chris has served on the board of directors for several privately held energy services businesses and has deep long-term relationships in the sectors he serves.

Chris holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance from Colorado State University. Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
